Always have a great time with Troy!

Troy did a great job trying to get us our limit of stripers and some bonus jug cats. He gave us extra time he didn’t have to so we would catch limits as the weather made the fishing slow. Will definitely see Troy again. Would be 5 star if we coulda got bigger sized fish.

Troy was amazing! He was very knowledgeable on where and how to find the fish. He made the trip fun and very easy going. There was 6 of us on the trip, and Troy made it feel like he was one of the guys in our group. I would 100% recommend Troy to anyone that wants a guide that will put you on fish and make it fun at the same time. Thanks again for a great experience, Troy!

You’re not going to fish with a nicer guy!!  He worked his tail off and we got our limit plus a few good eating size blue cat. Super respectful, great with my 11YO and my wife. Being a family man himself he knew them having a good time was important. He has the best fishing equipment and an awesome boat. He cleaned the fish and bagged them for us as well.  He is also an army veteran and you got to feel good about supporting a veteran owned business. Five stars for sure!!!

My sons and I went on a half day weekday trip with Troy. We were pleasantly surprised with the way Troy handles himself and Captains his boat. In very little time we were all laughing and joking about "nothing in particular." I was happy with the way he will study the fish, and take the time to explain what and why he is doing it. Using different methods for the best outcome and being lively when someone has a catch. He really appears to enjoy what he's doing and I'm glad we found him. I don't usually leave comments but, he is an exception that leaves me happy to say, we WILL use him again and are already getting dates to do so.

We had an amazing trip! Troy is great with kids and very patient! We had to throw back as many as we kept (both big and box sized) due to the lake limits. I've been out with ½ dozen other guides, at least, not only did he do everything I expect my guide to do, he did little extras like simply removing the red meat and keeping our bait "fresh". I could go on and on but you'd quit reading my reviews so I won't, just trust me when I say he is one of the better guides on Lake Texoma (quite possibly one of the best)!

We had a great time fishing and on the boat. Troy was fantastic with the kids, teaching them about the boat and the lake and answering all of their questions! Overall, we had a great time and even caught an 11lb striper bass!

Everything was top notch and Troy put us on the fish all day and we had a blast. Highly recommend him and we will definitely be back to put another dent in the Striper population.

My husband and I went on a trip with Troy a few weeks ago and we enjoyed it so much that we scheduled another trip with our entire family. It was so fun and relaxing even with kids. I highly recommend Troy!

Troy was extremely knowledgeable and thorough and went above and beyond on our excursion. We had our first fish in the boat within 30 minutes of leaving the dock, Troy was on top of his fish the whole trip, even when the fish were picky. Highly recommended Troy for an unforgettable excursion. Beautiful boats and poles baited and pulled fish.

I’ve been fishing and boating my whole life, and having worked in the fishing industry myself - I can be highly critical of others. Troy’s operation is downright OUTSTANDING. Some guides buy minnows or start the first part of the trip catching bait. Troy is out early by himself throwing and catching his shad. He has a very impressive shad tank that kept ALL of the 2-300 pieces of bait fresh and lively the entire trip. Talk about comfort. He has a 24ft center console with the console pushed to the bow giving a VERY impressive fishing space at the stern. I don’t recall the beam but it was pretty much wide enough to feel like you can have a dance party. Power? 300hp 4 stroke yammy. Why the need? He said in case he needs to duck out of a storm. Better to have and not need than to need and not have! The gadgets! Oh the gadgets. Touch screen garmin with all the bells and whistles. Including - live scope! If you want to watch a striped bass swim up and gobble down your bait - this is the way to do it. By the way, thumper and splasher going at all times to keep the fish by the boat. The morning bite was off the hook! Troy was like a machine - rebaiting lines, taking stripers off the hook, measuring and tossing fish in the chest etc etc. We made a few stops and spent some time looking (a good guide will look around for fish. Not just drive up a “spot” and shut off the engine and hope for the best) and every single stop we made caught fish. What sets Troy above the rest - he will stop what he’s doing and explain to you what you’re seeing on the screen, how or why a thumper works (been thumping myself for a year and never knew the why!), striper feeding and moving habits, or pretty much any question you may have. We ended the day with full limits of striped bass which Troy filleted for us. He even removed the blood line! I had not seen that done before! Good times were had by all and I cannot give a stronger recommendation for a guide service. Thank you so much Troy!

Troy took me and my son out on short notice. He communicated quickly and did exactly what he said he was going to do. He got my son and I on fish and was very patient with my son who lost a lot of baits and missed some fish. His boat and equipment are top notch. I would highly recommend him to take you and your family out for a day of fishing. You won’t be disappointed.
